the way i read it is they sent other people SBT eggs which had good hatching ratio's - positive.
one lot died at 8 days but it was there first crack.
and then
SBT larval rearing trials are continuing. SBT larvae and fingerlings (currently up to day 40)are being successfully trialled at the DPI hatchery facility at Port Stephens in NSW.
Currently up to means they are still alive to date.
The reference to the 38 day at Arno bay was in reference to the previous attempt.
They cant put SBT fingerlings into the water because its too cold. in the last 3 weeks here in adelaide the we have had drops to 10*C at nights on many occasions. Port lincoln is always colder than adelaide. Water temps are just to low.
I see only one thing and that is more opportunity and time to get cheap CSS shares.
