I agree with you.
The share of the cost of online ad* in the total cost of selling a house looks quite low to me.
Online ads provide what I also see as an essential element : the number of leads.
Often, property agents claim to have a large data basis, but I am not sure if the final customers often come from their data basis.
Going forward, I can see a scenario where the share of online ads (in the total cost of selling a house) keeps increasing, as sellers know what is the real added value of REA and Domain.
* according to my estimates, 25 % corresponds to the cost for the sellers who pay both for REA and Domain. I don't know how many pay for both.
