You're right.
They may be affected by economic downturns, but only on their volumes (looking at REA in 23 or Seek in 24).
Even during this kind of tough years, these companies are able to increase their revenue per ad by double digits.
Interesting also to look how REA resisted in 23.
Despite a 12 % reduction in buy listings, their residential sales decreased by only 1 % and Australian EBITDA (excluding financial services) decreased by only 2 % (+ 1 % for operating expenses).
