I guess, it is always good to consolidate business entities to gain more efficiency and traction.
So, REA, puts Malaysia and Thailand entities into Property Guru in exchange for 18% undiluted stakeholding; the value of which is anybody's guess.
REA will also divest other entities as part of the agreements.
There will be an overall gain of A$10m from divestment, an increase of revenue by A$15m, and a decrease of EBITDA of A$11m??? WHAT?
So, after all this, there will be an increased revenue, and decreased EBITDA, for more efficiencies? Is this to be a one off?
Not surprised there are no comments here so far, as the announcement is lacking detail. ...and Mr. market doesn't know how to react to this...
