Who knows if that is the part of the investment case, but it may or may not be in REA shareholders best interests.
Considering the amount of debt proposed to get the deal over the line, I'm more than happy for REA to keep reinvesting in their current businesses at high rates of return.

Agree with those sentiments about the debt, and the Murdoch family intrigue wasn't great.

Considering there MAY be some regulatory clouds on the horizon for REA via the ACCC it might be prudent to have a strong balance sheet.
