Of course the cup is ‘half full ‘ !
AVL’s just announced a cost competitive Vanadium BESS!
And it was honest enough to say that manufacturing it at scale is going to require money !
It also said it’s already talking to sophisticated battery players out there and is expecting it will have to use outsourced vanadium for the Lumina until the AVL mine is up and running !
That’s NOT a cup half empty Skronkman!
Only now I reckon the trick will be to get the price up for a raise at something higher than current prices because those who will want ‘in’ to the Lumina raise as cheaply as possible may decide to try to squash any price advances on positive news in other directions .
Not a cup half full nor empty
But maybe we are a bit between a rock and a hard place depending on the quality of other news in the near term pipeline.
