Good to see ASX telling it like it is. Even better to finally get some answers as to why both HML and BHD are suspended!
From the content of both letters it looks as though the former company secretary only wrote to the ASX to inquire about the suspension for the first time on 24th May. Note that ASX's response didn't contain the phrase "As we have previously advised..." or anything else to that effect.
Did former cosec Kevin Mischevski make any inquiries about BHD's or HML's suspensions? Why not?
Why did former cosec Jody Wright only inquire about BHD's suspension for the first time on 24th May - less than one month before the EGM?
Was it only to find out what ASX had against them before McAuliffe and co got kicked off the board?
Did the former directors have any intention of ever sharing ASX's response with shareholders? We'll never know for sure, but we can take an educated guess.
Did the previous board of BHD strategically leave BHD suspended to try and force shareholders into accepting the JBL offer?
