I guess rights issue price will be determined by the market. With iron ore price touching $50 as of today I wonder if the market pushes the share price higher (potential bidders in talks with the banks syndicate). The higher it goes the less dilution for current holders which limits the chance of Blackstone getting most of ARI.
Deal says rights issue for US$262 @ 0.7 = A $374.
A$374 @ 0.02 = 18.7 billion shares
A$374 @ 0.05 = 7.5 billion shares
A$374 @ 0.10 = 3.7 billion shares
