It keeps coming back to that same simple thing to me. Even if our product is "only equally as good" as current standard of care we theoretically still have no problem with adding to anti biotic resistance, so huge benefit. If we are more effective in actually killing bacteria then look out. Add to that the theoretical benefit that it shouldnt need to be chosen for a specific bacteria, theoretically it will be effective against all. That in itself seems a huge benefit in an emergency situation where no matching is required to specific bacteria present?
I still recall those early announcements a long time back now where they stated they had demonstrated killing of many of the WHO's listed top danger bacteria, and the ones they hadnt killed were because they had been deemed too dangerous to allow access.
