or not if the market maker gets lifted on offers say 100th at 1.06 and he has only 20,000 in the kitty he needs to buy on the asx next day to cover the difference if this continues , as we expect given the clients likely only buyers as they have virtually none yet, then the market maker will be encouraged to buy more ahead of the action expected on the asx and build up an inventory at better prices than he expects to receive tricky but the spread being offered between bids and offers is wide enough for him/her to take that risk deep pockets of the firm backing the market maker smooths out the risk
