Yes we understand the reasoning outlined by the company. Notice they will also be collecting plasma samples. My feeling is that they may be hoping the faster infusion will push the plasma concentrations higher.
Add in repeat dosing and we may be back onto a winner for bacteraemia/sepsis.
However, the ideal would be a version of 327 with a much longer plasma half-life. It simply leaves the blood too quickly as it stands.
