The study quoted at footnote 2 makes for sobering reading - 72% of all antibiotic use is for farm animals in Vietnam and 28% for humans. For various reasons, Vietnam are being forced into use of some pretty nasty last line of defence drugs for humans. I can see why Vietnam would be a target market. And they spent a LOT of money on anitbiotics which in many cases now don't work. So who do they turn to ?
On the face of it, an odd announcement. Underneath, a flag of a solid strategic move IMO. I am thinking a path to early revenues? Look at deal Aegros (Unlisted) just did with Cambodia/Singapore for plasma.
