It’s just nonsense to say Humm no longer does BNPL - they are rebranding but it’s the same old thing. Used to call it interest free, then it was BNPL, now it’s point of sale payment plans. Whatever label they put on it, it’s the same animal - consumer finance, interest free and paid back in instalments. What they have moved away from is the small BNPL - Bundll, little things etc. but they are doing BNPL in spades still - just calling it PosPP.
