Given we have a decent health system, I am hoping it’s not that. Of course there are things like IVF which are very expensive and desperate couples would probably sign up for it.
I think anything in consumer finance is at the dodgier end, but I have always felt Hum was OK. Without companies like Hum, some people would find it impossible to access finance. Banks tend to lend to people who really don’t need them that much. So there is a need for these companies, but you like to think they operate as ethically as possible.
