@Slowburner - extremely valid points made. Buying the Linear business and then removing the management team - essentially the most senior 4 or 5 people including the CEO was not clever. These people had the IP, knowledge, the client relationships and they just knew the Linear business.

A small number of MGP executives argued that continuity was important to the combined entity but they were quickly overruled by others and the Board. Well it has been proven they were right and the merger was poorly executed - just look at the loss of staff across both businesses since the merger.

But we now await the Sept Qtr report - bet they leave it to the last day to release.
