If any scheme is to be put to a meeting and we wish to keep the company, it will be high time to have a campaign to recruit proxies for a NO vote from the small / retail shareholders.
Such a campaign was mounted here on HC several months ago to derail the plans of a major (non Aust) shareholder who were wanting to grab another board place which would have allowed them to ‘put a spanner in the works’ and stall development plans of a graphite resource .... possibly to suit their own interest.
Anyway proxies were gathered from a lot of otherwise ‘silent’ retail shareholders ... sufficient to head off the ‘interloper’.
Maybe we need to do something like this here.... it may be sheer numbers of shareholders rather than the number of shares that hold the fort.
