I cannot see the takeover happening at 20 cps.

Did they not discontinue discussions at the revised 19 cps offer as being well below acceptable value?

I actually think this could trigger a rerate in the SP and the takeover will go nowhere. Be interesting to see if they put forward an Independent valuation - suspect it would be much higher that 20 cps. Falling US interest rate environment is going to make private equity more active. Also look at some of the rerates across APX for example - this could well get into the 30’s-40’s IMO
