Well, give them enough rope as they say, and they will hang themselves. And you've just done so by admitting that you are a trader that ramps when he wants to sell out, and downramp when he wants to buy in.
Naughty boy you are... because you are now showing your true colours.
In trading shares there are two people involved. The one that makes a profit and the one that makes a loss as a result of the the other investor's profit. There can never be two winners at the same time. One investor's profit is the other investor's loss. Don't ever forget that, nor try to come up with a convolution to deny the fact.
So what you are doing, is to try and squeeze the hand of the nervous nellie or the newbie to follow your recommendations that will suit your own personal needs and advantage at the time.
Now, don't get me wrong here and let's make it clear once and for all. I have no objections whatsoever in traders participating in the sharemarket and trading as much as they want. After all it is their own money they use and play with. And it will also encourage liquidity.
But, what I am against, is the method that they use to convince others into buying and/or selling into what the trader is saying at the time that will suits his/her's needs. Ramping or downramping as it might be. The "Pump and Dump" scenario, quickly comes to mind more times than not!!
Why can't you then do your own trading in the background without having the needs of trying to convince others to either buy your own shares, or to sell their shares to you?? PERIOD!!!
Finally you are closing off with :""'that share trading is not a guarantee to monetary heaven'. "" I've never said that. You did!! Period.
And don't forget that even the long term holder can suffer from that same desease as the ST Traders. Their investments cannot be a guarantee to monetary heaven either.
