I doubt the directors hold anywhere near enough to be safe...they'll also need to take all their rights up as well.
I'd be surprised if they get any support from the register, there's a few on the T20 who may advocate for change.
The directors probably have no back up, otherwise the underwriters wouldn't have called for sub underwriters.
No dilution for anyone taking up their entitlements...that will be the interesting part
