Thanks for the substack. Interesting analysis, yeah when I did some numbers it came out pretty close. Looks like the scrip bid is worth somewhere around $0.80 to $0.90 in today's dollars.
The other interesting comment was that bit re: Corps act. My read of this seems to suggest that they have to offer a minimum of $1.10 in consideration, no? Creative interpretation of 'consideration'?
