The only slightly disturbing fact here is that the message from LPD is not a direct refusal. Recently REM did make a similar low-ball offer to BCN for a merger and BCN replied the same day rejecting the offer. So a bit disturbed that LPD did not outright reject this offer like BCN did to REM.....
