Yeah I don't understand people who just keep on whining about the CR. If they were smart they could have bought at 10.5 c because of it and realize 75% gains in 7 days!
The raise was done as they feared not having access to capital markets with Evergrande etc playing out. Overreaction? Maybe. But sacrificing 2c on your CR price is well worth the peace of mind and stability this CR offers going forward (as you rightly state @Magic2000).
