I guess without a controlling interest, it doesn't make sense not to extend. And they probably want a lot more than just 50%. I see that some are saying that with just 50%+ they could go on a long term plan to dilute away the remaining holders. However if you do the maths it would actually just be a LOT cheaper to get to that postion by offering a better ratio to holders.
This time it's one week extension instead of the previous times it was 2 weeks. likely just a ploy to try to imply this is the last chance, which it probably isnt' if they are still in the same position next friday.
I guess without a controlling interest, it doesn't make sense...
