Just as they can extend the date, they can change the script ratio. Given that the offer is unconditional, I am unsure if they can limited it to x%, however perhaps they can change the terms so that it is "offer ends on xth of the month, unless terminated earlier", effectively allowing them to do the same thing.

I still think that just breaching 50% is not what they are after, as to significantly dilute the remaining minority shareholders down in the future would require a massive cash investment into Bullzeye, whereas making the script ratio more favourable hits existing EMR holders, but ultimately doesn't cost the company money.
