That's horrible, Andy.

I have lost nothing near that, but to me it's an incredible lot. Enough to stay on my mind constantly and sleepless nights.

I guess it's not just the cash, I spent the last 7 odd years tracking this daily, reading everything I could, and constantly analysing managerial announcements.

It's beyond a doubt, the biggest slap in the face I have encountered. I am amazed you can have someone making such deceptive comments around its viability, and then this.

Talk about going from zero to hero in no time. I guess the biggest thing for me now, is reconciling the fact it was outward lies, based on zero backing. Was he afraid to set the record straight? Did he feel he needed to perpetuate the feeling of certainty by comments like "not if, but when".

How does someone sleep at night, knowing people will be forever burnt by this. It's straight out not fair. If they were more open and honest, and people stayed invested in the face of insurmountable hurdles, that's one thing. But we were all fed a steady stream of lies, and unqualified comments.

The sad thing is, this will be put down to external market forces. They will never be held to account, and like always protected from the corporate veil. This isn't a golden parachute situation, it's an outright swindle.
