I hope you are right with regard to anyone selling because they assumed the wrong currency. It's hard to say one way or the other without evidence. People do silly things all the time though, especially when they let their emotions overly influence their decisions. It's also true, and understandable, that people feel embarrassed after making such an error so we may never find out.
