    Yep, read that. Those clauses are typical in these kinds of contracts. Who wants to be contractually obliged to a company under administration?

    I agree the Singapore company is risking total loss. It does have some advantage in that it will be straightforward to restructure the business then sit until conditions potentially improve. Without more detail about who is behind the Singapore entity we also can't be sure there are not other risk mitigation measures available to them.

    I agree that a counter-offer would be advantageous for SH. I don't think one appearing is all that likely, however knowing who's behind the Singapore bid might help us better assess the odds.

    I don't blame anyone for trying to pick up a bargain. I'm just betting this is the first throw of the dice and the bidder will be prepared to pay more. I can't discount zero as a possible outcome either, but I don't think we're quite there yet.
