The lack of concern with regards to capital for so long, and then the sudden realisation of needed funds... stinks to high heaven.

Some will put it down to managerial incompetence, but there is something more to this. They reiterated the strength of their financial position and no debt for so long... even in the face of diminishing funds.

I would like to hope GV and those on the board get theirs in the long run, but sadly life doesn't work that way. No doubt, he will wrangle another high paid position... copy, repeat.

As for me - that's the end for me. I don't think I could ever stomach investing in a stock again. After all, it is apparent managers can say whatever they like and never be held to account.

I won't say how much I have lost, but it's more than I would like to ever admit. Yes, I am the sucker. Bought the story, bought the lies.

I thought today couldn't get any worse, with the markets plummeting. How wrong I was... I will leave the sharemarket to others.

Not sure how you get over these types of losses. It seems like a burden of guilt and feeling of stupidity forever.
