the way I read is it this:

why has a bridging company with their dd offered finance, and very quickly I may add?

why is there a take over bid at all?

because there is value in lngs assets. big value. think of all the hoops jumped through, FERC etc.

why do sh have no choice? yes they do. the main ones obviously have most clout, but the option still exists not to accept the buy out. if management are supporting it unanimously, it's because they obviously can't get the job done and see no faith in themselves to do so. why the 180 turnaround in sentiment from the board and scaring sh about liquidation risks. they have always stressed what a good position we have been in with no debt etc so we can get another board and ceo. maybe lng9 will make another offer. maybe someone else will. maybe we'll get another offtake with a different angle and board. my suspicion is the USA wants to keep this in the country, not give away assets to another country. there may well be support there. I think we are better off taking a gamble on dilution and cash raising.

for those worried about corona, well imo, and I speak from a place of quite a bit of authority and understanding here, it's a highly transmissible virus and chances are it's going to spread and has spread around the world. there are most likely 100s of 1000s of affected people in whom it's not so bad as to go to hospital and get tested. the horse has bolted. they will find a vaccine, hopefully soon. i think it will take 2-3 months. if not, worst case scenario 2% worlds pop will succumb. well all be exposed. and have built up resistance. game over in 3-4 months. move on. it's not going to affect long term supply and demand to the extent people think. there is a fair contribution to the boards recommendation and this misplaced fear imo.

    imo
