Mr Walker, I've appreciated your LNG input over the years. I've sensed that you are a straight shooter when reporting your discussions with management. However, with the benefit of hindsight, I think the ship started to sink from its home port of Fisherman's Landing under the Captaincy of Maurice B. many years ago.
He sailed it to the US with Aussie future finance in place & cash & big investors lined up in US. How he did it was a miracle, akin to a Disallowed salesman of old. He jumped ship with a huge bag of gold, leaving the world still mesmerised by the wonder of the business plan. The bit of the story that was missing was the might & size of the existing world LNG players, who still probably have never thought of our unproven LNG science being of any interest at all. IDG were my big hope, but they could not guarantee to take volume until a lot of time & cash would need to pass. I think GV has also been suckered, but don't know what action he could have taken except soldier on with his fingers crossed. He inherited the old ship now parked in Maggie & BH. He didn't do any of that setting up. I'm not justifying his form of management, which was simply to keep the flag flying & motivate the crew. GV came along well after my investment. It is not him I blame for our downfall. It is ME. I'll take 19c & put my LNG award a bit below the other Oz start-ups on my wall of Dishonours.
Fleeced again. Cheers, Japes.
