It is a normal administrative process, and the temporary permit is valid while the reconsideration is underway. Plus, no application for reconsideration was received by the deadline of May 30, 2024, for the temporary permit, so the temporary permit status remains granted. It is great to see Bruce and the management were well prepared for any unexpected actions from some protagonists in the area and have the temporary permit ready so no work would be jeopardised.

When someone submits a request, as long as the procedure complies with government regulations, the government needs to take and consider it. This does not mean the rejection or halt of the project at all. In fact, we have been receiving strong support from the local and state government.
