As per last time there will be some sort of SP shock across the sat services providers/industry as the public and retail sector gets scared. However, just like last time after the panic subsides it'll be back to normal. Bottom line is it takes decades to establish in the sat business both from the technology perspective as well as to provide adequate sat coverage, negotiating contracts etc, Apple is at least 3-5 years from any sort of viable competition to Iridium/Garmin/Zoleo, which by that time will put additional moat to protect their revenues and networks.
