    As Apple pointed out, battery life and big antennas have always been the technical "moat" for satellite devices... not to say that these moats won't be eroded over time by technological innovation but there's generally been a trade-off between "size of device" and "bandwidth" in satellite.

    Hopefully it takes a decade or more for Apple etc to crack that code.
