Yeah I agree, the future is likely be in a single device that 'does everything', however, we are definitely not in that space yet.
I am somewhat triggered by the underwhelming functionality of that Apple release, so much hype for so little function. Apple fanboy/fangirls have been rapping this announcement for months as 'groundbreaking' and how it was going to change their life etc as well as how Apple was going to come up with some tech that will break the laws of physics around antenna size and Globalstar constellation issues...clearly the announcement fell well short of the high expectations, as reflected by APPL SP on the release.
These are very good news for BCC especially around our territories of Aus/NZ/UK/EU, really de-risked the device for the next few years at least.
