If anyone doubted the power of the media this week should remove that - a women who is a rape victim has come forward accusing HRC of assaulting her - and the media ignores that, instead going for DT who has yet to have an allegation made against him.
Tangs - In regards to AISC I think its going to be below $1000 based on the following figures (in millions).
Closing balance $88.7
Less: funds raised $23.4
Less: Opening Balance $49.7
Add Capex: $11.7
Cash generated from operations: $27.3
Ounces produced: 36,179
Margin per ounce: $755
If we assume an average price of $1675 (half at $1600 with the hedge and half at spot $1750) that means cost per ounce or AISC (before admin costs) would be about $920.
I've probably missed something but if its ballparkish then RMS will be one of the lowest cost producers on the ASX. And thats with a low contribution from Vivien to come plus Water Tank to kick in at $765 AISC from next year.
At the current gold price RMS is raking in the cash despite last weeks meltdown in the price of gold. Once the capex on Water Tank (approx $10 million) is finished the rate of cash harvesting is going to increase even more.
