Hard to say, but this is a long term play. SPT don't offer credit like other BNPL. They don't have growing losses due to missed repayments, chasing payments etc. as they scale.
They are built to be able to continue to scale and should be able to scale quickly. Their profitability comes with scale. The problem is they haven't executed on that in recent times. Google Japan is a big win but they need more of these big wins and consistent growth in small/medium merchants as well.
With an interim CEO it's hard to say the pace or direction they will take to reach enough scale for profitability. The new CEO will have a lot of opportunities though. They just need to have a plan and execute.
