My favourite line from this excellent announcement is the final sentence, 'CIO’s strong objective is to become cash flow positive in 2018 and look to expand the business globally.'
I've forecast cash flow positive in either Q4 FY18 or Q1 FY19. By adding that sentence in, CIO demonstrates it is aware of the importance of cash flow management and is looking to become self funding as quickly as possible. Yay!
Many small cap companies fail to manage their costs. Management often waste money on a variety of crap that doesn't improve the underlying business. I won't name names, but there are scores of listed ASX companies that should be cash flow positive, but aren't as they are run by poor capital allocators who also don't focus on cost control.
