The company i work for has around 250 employees in ANZ and all work related apps for our iphones are installed using Company Device management, same for our ipad as well. That way they can control updates and fix problems easier. Personal apps and the like are downloaded through the app store like any other. I would suggest most of the Appstore downloads may be the smaller clients, and the big blue chips are all done via the companies IT portals.
