He said Australia has outlawed subscriptions lately, so they lost a $150k revenue per month revenue stream. Bongo however looks to not be subscription, but 'per message'.

Good post but ...

That March 2014 bongo fine in your post occurred prior to the company listing so hopefully they would have learned a lot from that and made disclosures a lot more transparent after listing.
