I do feel a little bit more positive about the longer term outlook after the investor call. I was impressed with the new COO and can see at least some hope that there is an underlying strategy that the business can be transformed in a year or two. It will require savvy operational steering, technical excellence and flexible initiatives to capitalise on opportunities in social and digital marketing channels. Not the best position to be in (ie little existing business and pinning hopes on the development of an unproven new business) but, compared to what I thought yesterday, a potential window of hope.
