This guy is a visionary and I am extremely comfortable with the board's decision in finding someone to take this company truly global. Particularly interested in the board leveraging his experience and knowledge in Asia and emerging markets. I suspect there will be some changes to our distributor versus direct networks in the near future as you can see Swami eluded to there being hurdles present in the current model and it limitting patient/surgeon accessibility.
I think we can all agree that we will look back at this decision in 5 years time and be much better off than having the previous CEO remaining at the helm.
