I wouldn't rule out a hostile takeover of Silver Lake by third party.
CY23 EBITDA of $339.3m, current market cap $1b, cash/bullion/RED shares = $415m. No debt.
So EV = $585m and EV/EBITDA ratio = 1.7x (ratio of 5 is considered low for a mid tier producer in a depressed market like now).
When the net realisable value of stockpiles ($200m+), gold in circuit and concentrates at hand are included, the ratio reduces to 1.0. Crazy stuff.
