It seems to me that you are 'a bit soft', if I can put it that way. Harden up mate!! Don't take things to heart. Cop the heat and wear it.
Also, if you turn off what you don't like the sound of you will eventually finish up listening to your own voice and learn nothing in the process.
IMO the 'ignore' facility is for pests who persecute, not for people who have a different opinion.
