one of the most profitable gold mines in the world is ridgeway, this deposit is the same style so lends itself to sub level caving which is very profitable at what you perceive to be low grade.
Grade is not king when it comes to gold, the style of the deposit is one of the most important things. Robinson and CO have forgotten more about gold mining than you will ever know I'm afraid.
These guys are old Goldie's from way back, they do not try mining deposits that are not profitable, hence the estimated cash cost of $300 ounce.
