Was the CR necessary at this stage of the DRC project - probably not.
Could we have waited for the SP to rise before completing a CR - Probably, but managements reasons at this stage are unknown and time may shine further light down the track.
We now have a project ( 90%) in the DRC with high grades with samples and a experienced partner on site.
First stage exploration program to begin in short time frame.
China has been ramping up investment and contacts in Africa for the past 15 years. They are comfortable working in Africa and dealing with governments who are likely to make favourable decisions due to their investments.
The push towards electric vehicles is pushing ahead and China would rather have their own projects to control rather than rely on other countries supplies.
If drilling proves the samples are at a high grade, then no matter who is running the company, we should see a higher SP, and we still have a low amount of shares compared to other species in the same space.
