jojo this is not tailings this is the waste rock pile from an old Bakers Creek mine. The ore was mined (mostly by hand) and then hand sorted. What was not sent for processing was thrown on the waste rock pile. Most ores mined today have little or no visible gold in them, back then they were waste rock....today they are treasure!!
