Ppl here a quick to forget, the raise wasn’t done at market rate but was discounted by 20%. The fact that the sp pulled back to the CR price isn’t anything out of the ordinary. Some bought on market others participated to the SPP, no biggie.
AK only put up the SPP to give retail holders a chance to grab some extra. ROG didn’t need the $$$ rather than to give retailers an opportunity if they so desired. The $$$ needed for project advancement was achieved in the placement. That’s why only 500M were on offer on the SPP.
Most LTers will remeber with the last two CR’s retailers were pissed that the didn’t get a chance to participate, even to the point where they sold and left. Let’s be honest about this, it’s all here on HC.
Good to see management participate in the raise as well, shows confidence.
Now that this CR stuff is out of the way management can get on with the job.
