There's one type of A.I. that unequivocally rules - stock market...

There's one type of A.I. that unequivocally rules - stock market "bots" ! The controller of said "technology" which market regulators insist is NOT market manipulation but "market makers" ( LOL - hope you don't have your mouth full when you read this). So, an "entity" that desires a substantial number of shares, will tell " a broker " how much and roughly what price, and then the "broker" will "put out feelers" and also "release the hounds" aka bots, to make sure the SP stays within a certain specified SP window ..... till the position is filled, and then give the bots fresh instructions .... far fetched ??

Once upon a time, one could spot big buyers by volume analysis, but this has become much harder - it's often only seen with the rear view mirror.
One could imagine the volume turnover that would be required if RED gets a big rerate by a major index fund ??
But with the very slow "substantial share notice" mechanism, retail investors will be the last to know.
Once in an "index", it insulates a company's SP, in a rising market where funds "buy the index", but the SP will fall more than seems reasonable if the index falls .... is RED about to get a much bigger index allocation ?? ..... it would be nice to think so.
