    At least we can take some solace, Bull Whisperer, from the problems being now encountered by Pantoro largely due to its sub economic Halls Creek gold mine.

    This has contributed to Pantoro's dismal share price and is causing all kinds of angst for its shareholders. For the present time it seems that Pantoro is in no shape to make even a low-ball takeover offer for MXR.

    One proviso though: Let's hope it doesn't decide to sell off its stake in MXR at these low levels to raise some cash!
