We have a long awaited announcement that is very positive for the prospect of mining for MXR and all we get here is negativity. I question peoples motives here to actually see MXR progress and do well.
When reading the announcement keep in mind that initially Ramelius started mining Wattle Dam based on the following; While the mine life of Wattle Dam will be short - with around 13,500 ounces expected to be produced over the next 4-5 months - the operation will deliver gross revenue of up to A$10 million based on the current gold price of approximately A$750 per ounce. WD turned out to be 266,350 ounces of gold at 10.6g/t.
Redback has a better starting point than the original WD mine did in terms of ounces, if it can surprise to the upside just a fraction like WD did then MXR will be sitting on a good gold resource that should generate considerable cash flow.
